Objects and images of the artist’s childhood home become a record of place and time. The images were taken 65 years apart, from the same spot, by different generations. They show how her home has changed over time. The older image can only be seen as a reflection. Image details are blurred by the topmost layer of fabric – a metaphor for times affect on memory. The images fade as the lamp’s light becomes dimmer, eventually burning out.
